Women 4 Fredericton

Leading up to the municipal election in 2021, a group of engaged residents took interest in promoting female candidates in hopes of seeing better representation on city council. Historically, Fredericton has not often elected women to council, and there had never been a woman Mayor. Women for Fredericton was a social media and out-of-home campaign, bringing awareness to the higher number of women candidates and encouraging the public to consider voting for them.
